Located within the community of the Moose Deer Point First Nation, Niigon Technologies Ltd. grew out of the shared vision of Chief J. Edward Williams and Robert Schad, President of Husky Injection Molding Systems Limited.

As the cornerstone of the First Nation’s Sustainable Community Plan, Niigon (Ojibway for the future) is a World Class Injection Molding Facility that is a showplace of manufacturing automation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. The company is wholly owned by the First Nation, with all dividends being reinvested in social, environmental, wellness, and infrastructure projects.

Niigon is focusing on the manufacturing of small, high-end products for the automotive and electronics industries that can be produced in Husky's new Hylectric 90-300 ton machines.
